Book set against the backdrop of a rainy day Sydney and Town Hall.
"The Arrival is a migrant story told as a series of wordless images that might seem to come from a long forgotten time. A man leaves his wife and child in an impoverished town, seeking better prospects in an unknown country on the other side of a vast ocean."
What an interesting book! I have never heard or seen of it before- you took a great picture of its display.
ReplyDeleteAnd although I don't like the fact "he leaves his wife and child....seeking better prospects";))
I would look to look inside the cover.
Looks like an interesting old book.
ReplyDeleteNow you've got me intrigued! Would love to take a look inside the cover .
ReplyDeleteKinokunya? Too scared to go up there, even though I'm just round the corner. Never been able to get out without buying something. Love the aged treatement of the cover, looks fascinating.
