A tent city for homeless people has sprung up recently in the financial heart of Sydney. Also opposite Parliament House. A complex issue which involves a tussle between the two most powerful women in NSW - the Premier Gladys and the Mayor Clover.

Federal and State Law Courts NSW


The newly refurbished federal and state law courts in Macquarie St. The two coats of arms are on the window. The Australian coat of arms has the kangaroo and the emu holding a shield while the NSW has the lion and the roo. The NSW motto contains the Latin inscription "Orta recens quam pura nites" which, in English, means "Newly risen, how brightly you shine".

Barangaroo walk


A new pedestrian walkway has opened up from Wynyard train station to the new Sydney waterfront precinct. Named Barangaroo - after the wife of another famous Aboriginal Bennelong.
