Gallipoli Mosque Auburn


Auburn is 'the loveliest town on the plain' named after a poem. Now very multicultural. The construction of the present mosque structure began in 1986. Its construction and external finishes were completed and officially opened on 28 November 1999, twenty years after the first opening. Auburn Gallipoli Mosque is the largest Mosque in Australia.

Bahai Temple Terrey Hills


The Baha'i Temple on Mona Vale Road was built in 1961 and has survived some terrible bushfires in the area. "The Baha'i Faith is an independent world religion that was founded in 1844 and has been present in Australia since 1920.
