Greengang at Lloyd Rees Fountain

I cannot help it, I am enamoured of the greengang and their crazy antics. Here they were starting a race down Martin Place. I have seen them every morning this week in all sorts of weather. They follow pedestrians and mock their walk, they help people cross the road and play hide and seek with children, if they ever see anyone dressed in green they clap and go crazy. Shame I don't have any green clothes - why is that?

  1. Ha ha, this is great. It would be fun to see them in action. I'm not sure if have anything green in my wardrobe either.

  2. Whoever they are, they certainly make good copy for a blog post. You may have to buy yourself a green T-shirt, Peter, to get attention for a close-up.

  6. They sound hilarious. I'll try and venture down to Martin Place next week to see if they're still around.

  9. I would get clapped at all the time, I have lots of green (though not quite their green and certainly not in that style!). I love the green windows!

  11. This is actually a part of Vivid Sydney (http://vividsydney.com/) - not the Biennale. Perhaps you should untag this?
