Ibis on a fence

One of Sydney's pesky birds, their long beaks can reach into rubbish bins.

  1. I'm more impressed with the kangaroo paw in the foreground.

  2. Amazing photo! We don't have anything like that in Norway! All the best from Anette :)

  3. And I know lots about the fallen masonry in the background. I once stretched out a week of posts on that little gem!

  4. I have heard them referred to as 'bin scab' birds.

  6. I like the Kangaroo paw foreground too. Sydney became a refuge for the White Ibis when their wetlands habit was in drought.
