I thought it was a school prank but it is a new art display - I have noticed some of the statues around all dressed up. it runs until the 24 October and there is more information here. Queen Victoria has some new clothes.
Really, I will be down in the city on the weekend I will go have a look. There seems to be always something going on in the city. Thanks for keeping me up to date.
I was wondering who would be the first to snap one of these. I'd seen the barricades around a couple of statues last week but didn't realise what was happening. I noticed the Queen Vic statue outside the QVB yesterday being made up the same way.
Damn, you beat me to it. I have shots but will put them up next week. Have you seen Shakespeare yet? I'm waiting for them to dress the pig, it was still naked yesterday. Going to try and get Captain Cook and Queen Vic at QVB today.
