Sunrise Cyclone Sky


Yesterday morning at Newport Beach, looks like Cyclone Yasi might have affected the sky. The pole in the middle of the picture is a shower.

    I was glad to hear that no one was killed by the cyclone. Nice colors here.

    Definitely my favorite way to begin a day -- well, without help from Cyclone Yasi or cyclones, period! But the colors and cloud formations are breathtaking! Really superb capture, Peter! Hope you have a wonderful -- storm free weekend!

    What a brilliant sunrise shot, Peter. Absolutely awesome shot. I would have loved to have seen it from a beach. I did catch a glimpse of it but was too busy rushing to get ready for work to enjoy it.

    I noticed the sunrise from the train was pretty spectacular too but I don't carry a camera with me to work.
