Below Clarence is Top Points Signal Box, Signal Boxes like this used to control the points and signals for NSW Railways for every section. Now a computer controlled screen at a few locations do the work of a hundred.

ReplyDeleteI love trains but found for some reason the Zig-Zag ride was very boring ... that was in my pre-camera days. Perhaps I should try it again.

ReplyDeleteComputers seem to be reliable (most days)...but it was nice to actually have something "real" like this once upon a time.
