Homeless in Sydney

Sadly we do have our share of homeless people in Sydney, this is outside a church on Pitt St. The sign says 'Refugees are welcome here'.

Bank of Sydney

On Castlereagh St, this bank has had many name changes. Looks solid.

Fish tank in the toilet

This was a feature in a restaurant in Port Douglas. The fine eatery is called Zink.

Sun trap at the beach

Bilgola beach pool this morning, water was cold but refreshing.

Big Surf at Avalon Beach

Last weekend the surf was huge. The wind was cold too. Very unusual to see no one surfing. Also this day there was a leopard seal on the beach - missed it. Only read about it later.

Coming over the rise

The Domain is one of the great lunchtime spaces in Sydney, the walk ends with a view of the classical Art Gallery of NSW.

Tunnel to Museum Station

Entering the long tunnel on my way to work, looks a bit bleak or futuristic. This convenient pedestrian tunnel links the entrance to Museum Station and some underground shops.

On holiday

Time for a break from cold Sydney! Heading north for a few weeks to Tropical Far North Queensland.
