This event held about an hour north of Sydney in the Glenworth Valley allows contestants to run swim and wade through mud over a 20km course.

Mitchell the explorer

A surveyor and explorer of south-eastern Australia, he was born at Craigend in Scotland on 15 June 1792. He died on 5 October 1855. He is buried at Camperdown Cemetery, Newtown. This statue is on Bridge Street.
