Australia Square at lunchtime

Australia Square always makes me think of the sixties, when this building was completed (1967) it was the tallest building in Sydney at the time. Designed by Harry Seidler, it is the most beautiful modern building in Australia. Not too many cafe chairs here but ... I can see at least one. The theme for City Daily Photo this month is Cafe Chairs, to see others click here

  2. Whenever I see outdoor umbrellas, it always makes me want to stop for coffee.

  3. It also looks a wonderful gathering place - all those welcoming cafe chairs and umbrellas! (Ah, I'd forgotten Rod Taylor was Australian, he was great in The Birds:)

  7. Business attire looks the same worldwide, it seems. Could've easily been New York City.

  13. Afraid I cant agree about its beauty. I like the Renzo Piano one. There are some good angles and shadows for photography at Australia Square.
