National Museum of Australia

In Canberra is this modern looking museum. The National Museum of Australia is a social history museum. It explores the land, nation and people of Australia. Opened in 2001, the National Museum building is an architectural landmark. Inspired by the idea of a jigsaw puzzle, it reflects the many intertwined stories that make up Australia’s history.

  1. Is that the one down on the Lake? I've been to that one. Like nearly every museum I have been to, I can read and think for about two hours, and does my head in. Perhaps museums should be a seasonal outing ...

  2. Great shot Peter. I have enjoyed many visits to this museum.
