National Museum of Australia

In Canberra is this museum of our nation's social history.
'Opened in 2001, the National Museum building is an architectural landmark. Inspired by the idea of a jigsaw puzzle, it reflects the many intertwined stories that make up Australia’s history.'

  1. Wow great building. I love the fact that our modern museums are choosing to have iconic buildings to hold the collections in. here in the Uk there was a nasty tendancy in the 1970's to create what i can only describe as concrete blocks for some museums, that has changed now thank goodness.

  3. I'm not all that keen on the architecture of this place but it is an interesting museum.
