Photographs from the Emerald City
Love the perspective you've used Peter, building disappearing up into the heavens. Wonder what the tallest building is these days?
I thought the heights were restricted to 11 floors because this was the highest the fire brigade ladders reached. Is this 150 feet? Probably close ...
What an amazing picture and building! Sydney really is a remarkable place.
Tallest building - Citigroup centre - cnr Park and George
Great shot. I took a shot of this the other day but from a slightly different angle. I actually almost posted it today. I'll save it for another day.
Good shot, very well framed. When we arrived in Australia in 1963 it was the tallest building. I remember mum & dad taking me up to the observation deck. Wonder if they still have one.
Don't know Citigroup building, is that blue one? Would have said Deutchbank on Hunter(?) Street.
I remember going up to the top of this in the late 60s.
Gives an interesting perspective to this 1960s building. Great shot.
