I've only seen that once in Hawaii.
They are a weird plant. I had to take The Other Half to a plantation to prove that they did not grow under ground. The top being the above ground bit.
Great shot of it. Great to have your comments on again.
I love it, this is a tiny one and hopefully will grow large (we used to grow them when I was little, this sure evoked random memories of childhood:)
