How does Australian democracy work?


Today is the election for the Australian Government - Federal
Voting is compulsory
Vote between 8am and 6pm
One vote for the Lower House - The house of representative.
One vote for the Upper House - the senate.
Here is the scene outside my voting place in Avalon - picture of my local member.
