It is all a facade

Jim was down at Central after being outside the supreme court all day. He thinks it is all a facade! Figurative meaning: Facade The word can be used as a figure of speech to describe the "face" that people show other people, as opposed to what they really think or do.

  1. Nice one on the theme! I sometimes feel about our political system the way Jim does. I suppose it's a rather universal thing, alas. (So glad you've been having a great time in Hawaii! If you have time on Oahu, see if you can venture to Kailua Beach - my favorite beach on the island for morning strolls and watching the kayakers and frolicing dogs).

  2. The most original interpretation of the theme I have seen so far.

  7. A very imaginative realisation of the theme. Australian politics can be puzzling to Americans, but I'm following what Jim's saying here...
