I, too, thought what a beautiful building. I have never been to Australia. However, I have noticed that there is something very distinctive about the architecture. A very distinctive variation on the architecture of the Victorian & Edwardian period. Anyhow, that sign is doing nothing to add to the aesthetics. I think they need some Italians to give some advice on how to harmonize the past with present uses.
