Outside the Museum of Contemporary Art is this unusual sculpture, for the life of me I can't find any information about the artist but it is quite dynamic, what do you think?
Peter, it's actually part of the Biennale. It's a bit confusing this year because Vivid was running in the middle of the Biennale, so you can't be sure which artwork/event belongs with which festival. This work is called 'Neutron' by Roxy Paine. You might find some info on the '17th Biennale of Sydney' site. Sydney - City and Suburbs
Awesome!

ReplyDeleteI think it looks like a tree with the wrong end in the ground.
ReplyDeleteIt's strange, but I like it. It reminds me of tree branches, roots and brain synapses.
ReplyDeletethanks jim, looking at Vivid sites and didn't think of Biennale.
ReplyDeletePeter, this is cool.
