In front of the ANZAC War Memorial is a reflection pool, popular with lunchtime office workers, it provides a nice frame for the view to the Archibald Fountain.
It is a lovely section of the park. Hard to credit that the entire area got 'scalped' in the early 20s to allow Museum and St James stations to open in 1926.
