Well of course I know the answer to that question ... so I am going to answer with another question ... why do the Blue Mountains think they have it all to themselves ... nearly every mountain range in Australia has a similar blue.
You were a wee bit early to see Mt Wilson at it's best a few more weeks and it will be brilliant. Heading west on the weekend I see the poplars are changing but not yet golden.
Why are they blue ... something to do with the oils from the eucalypts ... they were simply named early on before the settlers realised it was common I guess ... why are they blue?
