Melbourne Cup Lunch in Sydney


Today at 3.00pm the nation stops to watch and listen to a horse race ... the Melbourne Cup. Sydney also stops beforehand to have lunch. It is a good excuse to bring out the facinators.

    It's really an Australian phenomenon.

    But sorry to read that two horses died today in the Melbourne Cup.

    Strange to hear of horse races when the ones we have here have ended weeks ago.
