This is Georges Plain Station, located about 30 minutes west of Bathurst and 251.900 km from Sydney. All rail kilometres are measured from the stop board at Central Station in Sydney. This station was opened on 1 Nov 1876. Now used as a residence.
I remember this spot ... it was one of the places I visited on my 100 towns project last year. Having the railway and a station made these little towns.
Recycling at its best! It seems hard to beat this locale for pure atmosphere. Love the blue sky.
ReplyDeleteCute little station.
