Australian federal election


On September 7 this year Australians go to the polls. Voting is compulsory here so unless you have a good excuse or wish to pay the fine there is no choice. Here are the two main contenders for Prime Minister - Tony Abbott (Liberal party) and Kevin Rudd (Labor) who is the current PM. Last night they went head to head in a televised debate. Bungan Beach


31 kilometres north of the Sydney is this hidden gem, hard to find, between Newport and Mona Vale. The name Bungan is first recorded in a survey in 1814 as Bongin Bongin, referring to the area (700 acres) which included present day Mona Vale and Bungan and was granted to Robert Campbell junior.
