Big surf at Avalon Beach, 3-4 m swells Saturday morning just now, only for the experienced boardriders! Great watching them battle it out for a wave, only to be wiped out. Wish I had a good camera with zoom.

Day off work ideas

Today I am having a day off from work, here is where I went this morning, no sharks here although further north at Newcastle all the beaches are closed as a great white has been seen lurking. It is a s big as a car over 5 m.

Just south of Sydney is a popular hang gliding location, they jump off Bald Hill and float over the escarpment and land on the beach.
